Princess Ezra

"This 22 minutes feels like an hour"

Ezra talks about the cost of the ad space that the CBC has taken out in major newspapers, and for what reason? I have to agree with him here, what message is the CBC trying to get across? That they have dump trucks full of money and can afford to run these ads on a whim? Or, as Ezra points out, is it to remind Canadians just how big they have become on the taxpayers dime?

They show the numbers of how many Canadians are watching them compared to Sun News, well, you better have those numbers when you are receiving over a Billion dollars a year from the government and your channel is mandatory for every Canadian to have in their cable package. This does not make the CBC look very good, frankly, it makes them look like the bully who is feeling threatened by the new kid in school.

Good point about CBC being a bully.

And rather ironic after Rick Mercer's viral rant.
